A Holistic Approach to Weight Loss
Gone are the days where low-fat diets and calorie restriction are king. With the emerging science in hormone, gut and mental health, we now know there is no one size fits all approach to weight loss, and diet fads simply don’t work—not long term anyway.
We are fortunate to live in an era where we have access to so many different resources, whether they are print or online, people are becoming more and more tech and nutrition savvy, and learning how to make informed decisions about their health.
A commonality among our customers however, is not knowing who to trust or what to believe. With so much conflicting information out there, it’s hard to decipher between true and legitimate, especially when it comes to diets and dietary supplements. That’s why when you come to our clinic, we develop an individualized program that factors in medical history, current medication, lifestyle, likes and dislikes, and this is just to name a few. By following an individualized approach, the client is more likely to get results and most importantly, maintain their results. With weight loss, it goes beyond calorie counting. Two people of the same height, age and sex can store gain, store and lose weight in completely different ways. This is just one example where hormones come into play. Without addressing each individual’s unique symptoms, how can anyone develop a weight loss program?
In order to achieve healthy weight loss, you need the right coach to set you on the right path. Our specialty is identifying what hasn’t worked in the past and doing the complete the opposite in the healthiest way possible. No fads, no trends…real results.
Individualized & Customized Weight Loss
My approach to weight loss is simple and individualized. Being a foodie and lover of sweets myself, I can easily relate to clients and develop customized meal plans based on their individual health goals. No two people are the same when it comes to food preferences, so neither should their diets. Height, weight, allergies, food must-haves—these are only a fraction of the factors I consider when developing a meal plan. And with my holistic nutrition background, I incorporate a combination of herbs and supplements to not only support weight loss, but overall health as well.
